Depending on your team, you may plant a bomb, halt weapon distribution, rescue hostages, etc. The main gameplay is a 45-min race to take down opposing players while completing a certain task. The difference is that Global Offensive has more game modes so the objective of each game is up to you. The game continues the team-vs-team mechanics of Counter-Strike: Source, pitting terrorists against counter-terrorists.
